Mission Statement
“Crossroads promotes, offers and delivers high quality, services for Carers and people with care needs”.
Everyone at Crossroads Care is dedicated to helping and supporting carers and people with care needs. If we can help, we will - please contact the Scheme Manager.
Origins of The Scheme
The Crossroads organisation began in Rugby in 1974 in response to an episode of the popular soap opera "Crossroads" which featured a character who was severely disabled - you can read the full story in History. The Brentwood & District Crossroads Care Attendant Scheme was formed 10 years later and has become highly regarded in the community for its support for local carers.
Scheme Status
Crossroads Care Brentwood Basildon & Districts is an independent local charity and a company limited by guarantee. Although the Scheme is an affiliate member of the national Crossroads Association, we receive no funding from them and are entirely responsible for our own finances.
